Rumours that i hear are: there is a 1.5i and later there gonna be a 1.2d with 2-stroke diesel, biturbo and intercooler with more horsepower than the 1.5i and much much more Nm, he needs only 2,5liter of diesel for 100km
This would be the successor of the Rocky, lets hope
Daihatsu F50 with 37" Simex tyres for battle
Daihatsu Rocky with 33" Blackstar tyres for normal off-road and daily drive

does nothing for me, Daihatsu screwed up when they stop selling the feroza and rocky - consequently they left Australia, hopefully these will come back tougher with diff locks, lower gearing and 6" suspension lift :D

I like the styling.

Anyone know how big it is? Is it Feroza/ Rav4 sized or Terios sized? Either way we won't get it here- thanks to Toyota owning Daihatsu.

The back looks like a Rav4 and the front looks like a Holden Cruz....

It looks more designed for the road then 4x4 orientated.. bloody city 4wd jockeys :x

Very small motor also (1.5I or 1.2d!! What a choice lol) ... Daihatsu are known for doing that ... lol
Wonder if it will have low range... hmm better have

Interior looks nice tho..

There will never be a successor as good as the Rocky  haha

its Daishitsu :!: Only good thing would be the uber economical engine in the 1.2D, but only for round town, cause I can't imagine that pulling up muddy hillclimbs too well.

They havent made a good 4x4 since the mid 90's - and that goes for ALL makes.

Hate it, looks far too gay for my liking.
Bet it's as useful as a chocolate fireguard off road.
No clearance and flimsy plastic looking bash guards. Why make 4x4s look like road cars? Keep 'em big, square and chunky!

Jon.
