Yeah thats my rig, well technically it's dads. We were camping and were about 5 metres above the water level at the time which was its usual shallow depth and at about 3:30-4am one of my friends woke us all up sayin there's water everywhere and when i jumped out of my tent all i could see was water. So we grabbed everything we could and dumped it as high as possible but the jabber couldn't be saved, tried to get our valuables like wallet, phones, gps out but as i waded up to the jabber it started to float away and that's when we decided to head out and find help. Jeez that water went up quickly though, never seen anything like it before, rose from about my aankles to my chest in about 10 minutes! Unfortunately the jabber looks like a right-off as it was nearly fully submerged and is now covered in mud and silt.
The tassles just add to it's 'character'
Oh an it's actually registered in Vic but we live up in Orange. NSW.

Find out what your insurance company wants for it - since it wasn't running (was it?) most mechanical bits should clean up OK. Dash gauges etc should clean up and function OK, the ECU may still work if cleaned properly.GOONA wrote:Oh a quick question...at the moment the jabber looks like it's gonna be written-off, would it be worth buying/getting the wreck back and trying to salvage anything or would it all be pretty much screwed?
Parting it out yourself should make some money, but it'll take time and effort. You've got a decision to make!
