It poured down earlier today in bendigo and in my infinite wisdom I decided to go for a drive.
There was water everywhere, the drains couldnt handle it, the roads were like rivers. So you could imagine what off-road was like!!!
I took a video camera, and new gadget i had made up - waterproof camera on a big suction cup. videos soon.
I found this nice little puddle to drive through to begin with... a nice start to the outing i thought

You call THAT deep?
But seriously, did you get water inside your car?? If not, you got no bragging rights... yet, but its a good start
Mocking aside, that middle one is a top picture
nope... no water in car...
we went deeper later in the day, no pics, only video... but the seals on the car are pretty good.
I've had trouble with the spark plug lead on cyl3 in the past.. didnt want to get water inside it again.
That was a creek just out the back of bendigo, victoria btw.

yep.. I had a look at it... and prompty ripped everything off my intake that sits infront of the metal canister.... both the intake pipe and the kidney thingo... bringing the intake up to nearly bonnet height, and moving it further back in the process...
If all else fails, I will remove the back off the canister too.... if the engine bay fills with enough water to get to the air filter that way... I'll have more things to wory about then the water in the intake
