Hi folks,
My neigbour has a 2001 Triton twin cab ute - and I promised I'd ask you guys some questions on his behalf.
He wants to do a 2" body lift and has all the spacers. The only problem he has is two bolts in the front of the chassis (I haven't actually seen this myself) that he can't get undone/out. Does anyone know what he means and should do? Is their a trick to it?
Also he is looking for a good suspension lift (approx 2") for it at a resonable price - any suggestions? What should he be looking at paying for a kit to fit himself?
Thank you all for your time.
Cheers
Snapey

Trouble with body lift on 2001 Triton.
Moderator: -Scott-
If the bolts are in the same way as the Paj, undo the nut on the bottom, the bolt should have head with dog leg off it so it hits the body and stops it from turning (easy to undo). lift the body (once all bolts are undone) 40-50mm and you should be able to put your fingers in and lift it up, turning as you go, as the exit hole is not quite where you want it. Using a magnetic rod, like when you drop your screws, helps pull it up from down by the radiator, if not, a long skinny arm. Once you put the new bolts in, use long extensions for socket set. Hope this helps.
I LIKE IT, I LIKE IT ALOT!!!!!!!!!

if you took your skirt off maybe it'll be easier to understand.
Or you could just pay someone to do it
