TD $1800 Approx for a 1-2" lift kit
OME $1400 Approx for same lift
The guy who quoted on the TD didn't really give me much advice but the guy from ARB had some good things to say about the pro's and con's of a BIG lift in regard to my wheel base size and the fact that articulation is very important and more so than increased height....better to have all 4 tyres on the ground I guess
What are your thoughts.....I like the OME price and they are backed by a big company in ARB...just so new to all this and don't want to waste money.
I don't have any experience with the ARB on a GV but I do on both a swb and a lwb Vit. In my opinion ARB has the best struts available and I wouldn't use anything else currently available. If you are only looking at mild offroad work and given the size of the tyres you're looking at I think that is the case then I would just do the whole suspension with ARB as the price is cheaper than your alternative and it will be a matched setup with longer travel struts. If you find you still need a little more lift then you can still add some coil spacers later.

I haven't quoted Grimbo because nobody takes him seriously :finger: :finger: :finger: :finger: [/quote]
BoostMeister,
I'm going through the same delima atm with my 2002 GV SWB. I'm swinging towards the OME setup but possibly with Rancho 9000 shocks on the rear.
I was told by ARB and TD that their lift is only 30-35mm. I guess CV breakages are on their mind when they specified their heights.
