I am looking for a rear disc brake set up to suit my 73 series
Can anybody help me out please
Its a standard full floating diff
What rotors and calipers would be best suited for this
The cruisers max weight would be around 2000kgs
Im running 35s and looking at larger tyres
I have 15 x 8 rims

The easiest way is to swap in a disc brake axle from an HZJ75. Same width, spring perch distance, parking brake cables, etc.
Harder yet is to make a plate and space it just right so you can bolt on rear calipers off a 79-81 Supra with built in parking brakes, and use solid rotors from a Hilux front attached to your hubs by longer wheel studs. The parking brake arrangement is different than a 73 series, harder to make it work.

I made the kit, it uses the same rotors and discs as the back, well it was made by a dude down here a few years ago, he stopped makin them, it works a treat but was difficult to do, cause the back of the hub needed a slight machining to fit perfectly on the disc.
I have an 80 axle here, needs some parts, and im trying to sell it.
