There was thread a little while back re V8 Paj conversion
From memory nobody makes a kit for this conv.

Providing the chev fits you will need to have custom engine mounts made

Marks 4WD Adaptors sell Holden V6 to Paj gearbox adaptors. I don't know if V6 and V8 have the same bolt pattern but if they do you can use this adaptor
Another alternative (stronger?) is to run the T700r (460LE) transmision with the pajero tranfercase.

I would be a little worried with breaking front CVs with the extra torque
cheers

I had a Chevy 4.3 V6 in my GenI. The 4.3 is a 6-cyl version of the 350 V8 (rear two cyls went missing).

The 4.3 fitted without bodywork mods, but I think you will have to do major mods to fit the longer V8 engine.

Width is no problem.
