V6 commo into Surf

Post by ludacris »

Ok putting a V6 into a surf. Which is the easiest and cheapest way to do it.

Keep the surf Auto and just buy an adapter kit from Marks for the V6 to Auto.

Or

Use the commodore 4 speed and buy an adapter kit for the transfere case.

Surf use a different transfer case to hilux/4 runner, mark does not make a kit, if yoiu use the commo auto you need a hilux transfer case

There was a really good thread on www.toyotasurf.asn.au, the toyota surf forum. I didnt go into it very far, canned the idea and concentrated on the 80 series
