Bundy kms

Post by smokem »

ive just bought an 86 bundy in immaculate conditition. Its got the 2.4 4cylinder turbo diesel motor in it with 265000 on the clock. How many more kms should I expect out of her reliably? plenty of wheeling involved!

how longs a piece of string? how often was it serviced with what products? how was it driven and run in by it's previous owners... is it a city car or are they highway miles. how do you drive it, how well you planning to look after it?

Do the timing belt NOW! Just to be safe! Thats my advice. I wasnt quick enough at doing mine after buying it and it went in a big way. Anyway the V6 has heaps more power then the TD was ever going to give me. :D

Oh yeah mine had 238K ish when it went and the rest of the motor was sweet!
