80 series diffs into Bundera

Ok Ive done a search and cant find anything but I dont really know how to operate it either.

I am looking at doing a 80 series diff swap into a Bundera what I am looking for is some info on it.

There was a series of articles in 4x4 Monthly a few months ago on this. They made it look like a lot of work- all the link mounts on chassis were moved and all the brackets on diff were cut off and they started fresh.

Bundymonkey... I take it this mod is for yours? Does your LJ run crawlers yet? Because I dare say you will loose a bit of gearing if you fit 4.1's from an 80.

chop chop weld weld... I looked at doing it too and it was just all too much effort and $$ by the time you fix the 80s axles up with 4.88's.

I think it would be easier get a rolled 80 series, shorten the chassis, and drop the bundy body on top. From memory I could fit a 1HZ in the bundy engine bay if the fan was moved to an electric fan out the front.

then you get all 80 series running gear, and the classic look of the bundy body, lighter weight than the 80 so more go, no matter which engine you go for.
