Hilux door hinges

Post by 82 Lux »

Anyone got any ideas on how to remove the slop in 23 year old door hinges? Short of replacing then at over $130 per door... :bad-words:
Or does anyone have any in fair condition that wish to get rid of? To fit an LN46 lux.

His hinges will still be no good though.

$130 is a good price for a door, ive been quoted from $270 to $350, though thats for a LN106.

hinge

Yes half doors would be nice for a comp or trail only rig, but as a daily driver it is a little inconvienient.
The lower hinges only are $71 for drivers and $65 for passengers. Go figure wich one they sell more of...... :bad-words:
Got it passed rego so it's all good now...
A coke can cut into strips and wedged in the door hinge to take up the slack works wonders....
