G16A swap. ??

Post by Luigi Malone »

Hi, I am going to swap a G16A into my Sammy/Sierra. I intend using a Carby instead of the TBI, and later on i'll fit an auto tranny to it.
With this set up does anyone know if I will still gain in HP and Torque, by much over my 1.3L? My Sammy is a little overgeared at present, in Hi range anyway. Lo range is fine.

On Suzuki specs, a G13A/BA @ 47kw and a G16A @ 55kw (G16B @ 70kw). I haven't got specs on torque but that's where the two engines are chalk and cheese, and the G16B is that much better again.
