Competitor up date

We have confirmation from 1st, 2nd and 3rd from round 1. Trent and Dave, Bidders and Rob and Sandy and Gav.

Also Wayne Smith is co-driving for Rohan Canavan in his awsum GQ. Darren Green and Scott Allen are back so the field is looking great. I'll tape the V8's and watch them when ever, biggest proplem is getting my favourite grid girls when the V8s are on, but I do have Celeste and Dannielle lined up for this one (remember Tuff Truck) also the Twins Kylie and Cassie will be there.

Look forward to you all being there, to enjoy the show. We head out next week to tidy up the tracks and ad a winch stage to test the co-drivers!!

rock crawling demo

Post by crossyfj40 »

Hey guys and gals.

We are asking if anyone is interested in doing some rock crawling demos for us at the next 4x4 Super Trucks. If you have a capable and well presented rig we would like to see you there. We are after roughly 3 cars that will be driving over rock obstacles while the "Winch Challenge" cars are competing during the day. We had 3000 people at the last one, so if you want some free advertising and show off your rig nows the time. We give you free entry of course. Its a great day, close to the city, we will need you there around 7am on sunday november 27 or even saturday nite so we can get your car onsite.

All is ask is a photo of the car before i sign you up.

Thanks

Crossy

i would be up for it as it is pretty convenient but Woodpecker is on the same day so will be at that..... Timing with Super Trucks could be better. Same thing happened last round in Melbourne where there were other popular sports on the same day. I think it was V8 super cars ect.

I'm looking after the marshalling needs as well as keeping the drivers organised and on time. Should be another great event.

I rang collin this morning and was going to enter my red GQ shorty (with TB42e) in the Touring class but was informed that the rules have changed and you now need at least a 4 point cage to compete. Oh well, there is always next year! I will still be going down to watch.

I'll add $50 to that, maybe we should pass the hat around the crowd for the biggest jump, then go to the crowd for the loudest cheer wins the kitty? That would have to encourage a few drivers to go large! What do ya reckon?

Definetly a good idea ! stuff it i'm uping mine to $100 so ...so far $150 in the kitty a nose dive and if people put in spectacular jump.
so let me just clarify it no more money in kitty = $$$ for nose dive ... more money in kitty by other ppl = $$$$ for a jump or nose dive !!! Shit have to rev up my driver cant afford to loose this money !!!!!

Good way to get the crowd involved and revved up, as well as revving the drivers up! Would be cool to see someone go for it just for the crowds cash......instant crowd pleaser!
