Yep, no argument's from me here on that, it just get's a little hot, so i figure no harm in leaving them running for a few minutes after i turn it off, so that way its nice & cool 5mins later when i jump back in to drive some where, it was just an idea i'm thinkin of doinscrewy_screwball wrote: with that temp rise, it only goes up once motor is stoppped cause of lack of flow of water to the cooling medium.......
as soon as you start the motor again it should come straight back down the temp it was running at previously.......
you really dont need to have the fans running after, as even though it cools the water thats in the radiator while your engine is stopped, there is no circulation so the rest of the water remains at high temp cause of lack of water pump..... when you start up that cooler water goes through the system hense cooling the temp down....
but if your motor is stitting at about 85/90 degress around and goes up 10 or 15 when off, it should drop straight down on startup, Mine does![]()
Well if you have a look at the difference between Mkpatrolguys & mine, he has his up the correct way, but that wouldn't work on mine do to the large pipe size, so its also a thing to think about.screwy_screwball wrote: they look neat in there though thats for sure, ive just put my engine fan back on to my discust whilst i save up for a new set of AU twins....
