I also have a fair few spare parts to go with the car when sold as well so i was the thinkin in about the $4000 mark. Would be sellin unregistered.

Selling unrego'ed makes alarm bells ring that something is wrong and it will deter buyers whereas spending a couple of hundred dollars and registering it will allow you to ask a better price and get a quicker sale.

That being said, have you screwed yourself by allowing rego to lapse on an unengineered car, running BL and 31s in Qld. Now I do not live in Qld and do not know your rego rules but I thought that at least the two mods I just mentioned will make rego difficult for you or any prospective buyer. If you have done the mods and know the true condition of the vehicle talk to an engineer and find out how much to get it certified and able to be registered, talk to your RTA (or whatever you call them). If you have all the paperwork done you should be able to get more than $4000, without it you are selling a paddock basher and need to get ready for offers of $1500.

Now that you mention it i would sell it registered but gettin a safety certificate would be hard with all the mods and the dents in the body. Im also worried about insurance matters for the buyer and if they have a crash and throw the blame back on me for modifing the car.

Mite have to bite the bullet and try for some mod plates and a safety cert.

Thanks for your help fellas
