Thought I'd share some pics of my old steering before I go to x-over. It worked well and never failed so if you are looking for a simple, cheap option before going to x-over read on :)

Cut the factory draglink and threaded with 17mm thread. Stole a ball joint and rod from an IFS lux. Cut the taper off the IFS front end and had it turned down and pressed into the standard hilux arm. Anyway pics tell the story. Its easy to carry a spare ball joint assembly should it ever bust.
