am i right in thinking that the only reason GQ patrol owners have with 33" tires and above catching the bodywork is because of the tire width?
If so, if would a 33" x 11.5-2" width catches do you think a 33"x10" [LT255x85] tire would also cause issues?

tire width problems...
my question is... if a 12.5" width tire catches the bodywork on axle articulation on a GQ Patrol... would a more narrow tire also catch the bodywork?barnsey wrote:I've read this 10 times now.
I'm still not sure what the question is.
I'm asking the question because i'm trying to figure out if it's the overall diameter of the tire that causes it to catch the bodywork or if it's the tires width that causes the problem. I hope this helps...
a mate runs 33x10.5 BFG muddies, i think they are actually the metric equivelent but he has no dramas with tyre rub, he runs them on standard ST or TI 3 spoke alloys,
where as i was running 33x12.5 MTRs which i run on ROH 15x8s with the cruiser offset, and i was rubbing panel work,
also, from my experience cant run cruiser offset wheels and 33x12.5s with factory flares as the hit the mounts and you risk damaging the flares,
