stock Nissan GQ Steel Winch Bar vs ARB model

Post by MAVRK-4 »

I believe these stock Nissan ones are ARB 'copies' and was wondering if they are just as good as an ARB Bar for strength etc..

Do these have all similar winch mounts etc (excluding the roller fairlead support brace...)

I seem to be able to get a new stock nissan one cheaper than an ARB one

Any other main differences, things I should be aware of?

I looked into this when buying a bar and found that the ARB was built heavier and had more reinforcing, stronger bkts, and apparently can fit a larger winch, has high-lift holes etc, cant remember about aerial bkts, winch box mounts etc. I went ARB

have a look at an ARB commercial bar. i got a price of about $900 for a GU bar. its the same design as the deluxe bar, but it doesnt get the plastic bits on front and the welds arnt cleaned up as much from what i was told. but if your after a reliable bar, it seems the way to go.
