Vitara t-case seal info needed

Post by cj »

Anybody know the specs for the oil seal on the front of the Vitara t-case where the front drive shaft enters. I've got a leaking seal that needs replacing but I need a replacement ready before I pull the old one.

If it is a 1.6 Vitara, I can't provide you with the specs but I can provide you with P/No's which should help:
OE P/No. 09283-40021
CBC P/No. BE37750F0

Hi CJ,

I had my transfer case overhauled this week and that was one of the items that was replaced. But as it was done by a transmission shop I dont have any part numbers etc.

The noise that I have been complaining about for some months was a bearing directly behind the seal that was close to complete collapse.

Perhaps a Suzuki parts shop or transmission shop might be able to help.

Cheers
