Hey all, im replacing the fr cv shafts on a 97 jackaroo.the inners are stuck on the splines in the diff.
tried a ball joint spliter fork to wedge in it & no luck.
any idea`s.

They don't come out that way, you have to drop that bracket off that holds the diff up and then they un clip from the back. this is from memory though, but I pretty sure it's a clip with the support bearing in there.

This is a prick of a job.... good luck.

thanks for that yarno,
i had to remove suport brackets bolted to diff & lower diff to slide axles out far enough to get those figgin clips off,shafts are 1700 bucks ea from holden,we might go the gq diff instead.

There was a thread back in march about cv's. PM giantracing . he seems to be able to source cv's at very reasonable prices.
