Recent Shots - the Gunshot Creek wasn't too tough at the end of the dry. The day before I had been assured by a Nissan driver that people were only making it through by winching. :D

Hey RASPAS,
Have you got an under bonnet shot of the snorkel. My (2.8T GLX, non boxed guards) snorkel stretches almost to the front of the guard before heading through the guard to the factory inlet to the air cleaner housing. I can't picture how yours gets past the power steering reservoir neatly.

Im guessing the snorkle goes through the outerguard, shots down along towards the front, and then through the inner guard and connects up to the standard intake.

Any other way would be inefficient.

Maybe SOUTH is right. I didn't understant what does he mean.
Anyways after drilling the wing I flexed the metal sheet inside the wing. (I don't know the word in english). Then I used flexible alouminioum pipe
and bent it to go under the headlight water tank.I removed the factory inner intake, cut the metal sheet to let the pipe go through and connected it to the factory air cleaner housing.
*PS* I'm not good at all at the english car terminology, so forgive me.
I did some sketching to give you a better understanting.I hope it'll help!!!

Majority of the work was done by myself. It started life as a CAPA kit, which didn't make anywhere near the power/tq figure's they claimed, so i changed the complete setup.
Bigger blower, Autronic plug & play ECU, Air/Air intercooler, custom mounts, manifolds and piping etc...
Works nice now :)

My PJ's pretty standard, most of the time. I have heavier/lifted springs that I fit when Im doing a longer trip (over a week ) or if Im towing a horse float some distance. than I may even wind up the front some more.
It has: UHF CB, AM CB, single CD player,Window tint, Alloy bull bar, Safari snorkel, Hella driving lights, Cooper STT 30x9.5's on 15x7 speedy rims.

When was that Gunshot pic taken? We were there in October this year, and that track you're on is a little different now...

Here's a nice pic of our shiney truck. So far not much has been done, but there is a suspension lift in the pipe line and some body armour.
