I have had the gen3 running on the system i have but am worried about starvation. I was thinking of fitting a gu 45/800lt fuel pump to the tank, running it to a 2 or 3 lt swirl tank then using my bosh high pressure to pump the last leg and then to the return into the tank any suggestions. the bosh is an inline high pressure pump ( the one with the plastic end fitting) cost me $200 not sure it is big enough, told it is good for 400hp?
cheers bru

hey mate,
How is it all going.
Just thought I would say that I am setting up similar on my truck at the moment (obviously not as much power etc) but most systems have a fair amount of overkill/excess built in.
My set up is will be running a vl turbo bosch pump after the swirl tank. the swirl tank has a small lift pump on it. 5/16 I think fuel line.
I have been told by several fellas in the industry and dyno tuners that the vl turbo pumps will pump plenty of fuel for most moderate situations.
You probably already know but make sure whoever tunes your beast that they not only run a fuel pressure gauge but a gauge that can tell how much fuel is running back to the tank (return) as this is the important thing to make sure you don't lean out. If it is using all the fuel then you have dramas.

i had a vl pump on there with the ea efi. they are too low pressure for a pressure pump i think they are only 30psi. what motor are you running?
what regulator too. i bought a monza one out of desperation to get it running but at $100 i don't think its much chop.
don't know wheather i need a rising rate or just a fixed pressure set aqt 58 or 60psi
cheers bru
