was on my home from bundy after a good fishing trip, towing a 1200 kg load doing 120 just outa childers, and the uj on the g box end shattered its puctured the drivers floor sent sparks flying and left us pulling the tailshaft out on the side of the road while it was raining n hailing. we still drove home in high range with the centre diff lock in and the g box throught the floor was getting extremely hot,
is it going to cause to much damage by driving on the road with the d/lock in.
owww and who thought fenderes cant do donuts with rwd and a locker

driving with the cd lock

If you only have one tailshaft in, then it is fine to drive with the CDL in. The box shouldn't get hot with the CDL engaged on the highway - suggests something else may be wrong.
Was it front or rear that broke. I have driven on just the front before - even a 2.25 petrol can spin the wheels easily off from the lights!!!

I know your pain, same thing happened to me Just outside of Lakes Entrance in Vic and drove home in front wheel drive with the CDL in.
Mine didn't go through the floor, just a big ding in the chassis.
