Who wants the Daihatsu Microcat?

Post by senergy »

If youve ever been to a daihatsu spares places then you have seen this app, it shows all the part numbers, layout etc..
For details of the app
http://autocd.com/autocd.html?q=10&gc=161&sha=0

for the actual app
ftp://daihatsu:feroza@ftp.i2cis.ru

You need to replace the file MG16.DLL with the one in the 3rd dir "something Microcat". Then install using LOAD.EXE.

Im not sure who's ftp site this belongs to but Johnathan on warfs mailling list found it.
Ive installed it, patched it, and it works fine.

No there is no more going to the spare parts guy trying to explain what part we need!!

But then they'll wonder how we know all the part numbers :finger:

Thanks heaps

When you launch the app you get a login window, you will need to create a user/pass by going into the Administration section.
Obvisouly you wont be able to log into any of the pricing sites cause you dont have an account with the distributers.

If anyone does have an account i would love to be able to see how much things are worth...

Is anyone else having trouble accessing that site? I could access it the other day, but today I'm just getting time outs?

Its a bit complicated to set up but worth the effort! Just copy all of the "Ключи Microcat" folder into c:/mc and your main install dir, and run the Microcat disk.exe, one of the buttons (left i think) goes and replaces files with cracked versions... you should be away then!

Cheers again, one of the best finds around there...

Yes I was using a download manager last night..... that somehow crashed and resulted in me losing all of last night's download! :bad-words:

I'll have another go tonight- worst case I'll have my 512k back online in a couple of days.

Sorry CRUSHU i've only seen the ford one floating about, and what are you doing in the Daihatsu forums anyway :)

As for some questions, how does one get the prices of parts? im guessing you need to log into some server, is there anyway around that?

You must not have a priced version of Microcat. The pricing should be in the shopping list.
I am only here because I was checking out all the new posts, and was interested in the Microcat

PM your address, and I will post you the Current <snip> disc. It includes pricing. Microcat provide us with a dongle that plugs into our USB port, to make it work, so I will be interested to see if you can crack it.

Yes, I guess there's that reason too!

Being that Daihatsu are effectively defunct in Australia it's not quite as bad as the other brand mentioned. Plus the thread started with just some links to the info- not a discussion on how to crack it. "They" would also take objection to an employee doing what has been said and people could get themselves or this board into trouble.

So, I'm going to edit a couple of posts slightly. ;)

Thanks for hosting that info too Senergy. I've got it all downloaded, just can't install it yet as my hard drive is full!

Hmmmm.... Having trouble installing this from the zipped copy you posted Rob.

I ran the load.exe and did the install (after unzipping it all onto my C: drive), but which "wierd" folder are you talking about? I've browsed through all the folders from that zip file and can't find any folder with a program to run? And where do you mean to copy that wierd folder to-> the unzipped files or into C: Program Files somehwere?

Currently when I run it, it asks for the dongle.
