Retrofiting cruise control

Post by NJV6 »

Hi there,

I have grabbed 'most' of the bits for cruise control out of a written off Pajero for free with the idea of possibly fitting it to mine.

Does anybody know where the little comptuter unit for it is? That is the only thing i did not have the foggiest where to look.

I've got,

Dash on-off switch
Control lever & loom of steering surround
Throttle cable to a box thingie at the back of the engine & bracket
Another cable & compressor? that mounts behind the battery
Brake switch (but I'm not sure if that is different to mine)

So I'm guessing there will be a little computer for it and if that is all I need i'll go and hunt it down also.

Cheers
Glen

You'll need something from somewhere to tell the computer thingy how fast you're travelling. ;)

Good luck,
