I swapped in a 1JZGTE, not particularly easy.

There is sump/diff clearance issues requiring custom sump and of course custom engine mounts.

Can get a bellhousing to suit in Australia from Dellow though the quality is very average.

Length is an issue so had to use a thin alloy radiator and a 16" thermofan.

How about a 1KZ-TE? 3.0L turbo diesel. Good power and torque. Keeping it in the family etc.

Or, go the 1UZ-FE
