This site has a quick backspace/wheel offset conversion chart and also tells how to measure and do the calculations.

Negative offset (eg -3, -15, -28 etc) means the mounting flange of the rim (the bit that bolts to the drum/disc) is moved towards the INSIDE of the rim (towards the centre of the vehicle in other words). This pushes the rest of the wheel OUT, making the track width wider.Vineboy wrote:What does the "-3, -15, -28, 10P, 25P" mean ( I know its offset but how do you measure it?)?
Positive offset does the opposite. So the great the positive offset, the narrower the track becomes.
Offset is measured from the centre line of the rim.
EDIT: This image may make things a bit clearer.
So would anybody have anymore aftermarket rims to add to this list? i having a very hard time wif the tyre places up here finding rims for the zuk. Answers like "well you see the tyres on your zuk are just too big" and "nobody makes zuk rims wif negative offsets". Im running 235/75 bfg mt's under a narrow track and yes they severly hit the springs and arches, have lost alot of turning circle too. Also do the sunnies come in any other colour other than white? I would like chrome or black.
