removing body lift

Post by -Mick- »

hi guys... I'm pulling apart my zook and still have a little work to do until the tub comes off. Someone's waiting for the body lift to come out so they can buy it but things keep coming up on weekends :drinking: :drinking: :drinking:    :drinking: :drinking: :drinking:

This person is too polite to say they're sick of waiting but I reckon most people would be  I have the end blocks out but the captive one not yet. Can I remove them without completely removing the tub :?:

Thanks

I did search but to no avail ;)

hey mick i managed to jack mine up enough to get the front captive bolted blocks in but i couldn't find a way to do the rear captives without taking up the whole tub..don't see why getting them out again would be any harder..good luck..let me no if u find a way. Btw, have u sold ur WT diffs that were set up for NT yet?

you should be able to to fit the factory sierra jack between the body and the chasis. just jack it enough the get the body lift out and lower it down. I side at a time.

when I did this I pulled the positive off the coil. no biggy :)
