Hi All,

I am at a bit of a crossroads as to what (Of many) mods to do next.

QUESTION:

What would you do if you had $1000 to spend on your zook.

Some mods i am tossing up are:

~Snorkel
~Move front diff forwards with rear springs up front
~Move front diff forwards with coils
~Purchase a Wt softtop body (Rollover Insurance)
~Do a ute chop
~Fit a front locker
Purchase a very second hand BJ73 (at a local wreckers) an put one of the 2 V8's currently resting in my garage in it.
~Invest it(Yeah right)

Most of these (Bar coils& the BJ) I can do 2 or more so what I am getting at is:

IF YOU COULD SPEND $1000 ON YOUR ZOOK WHERE WOULD THE MONEY GO??

I'd scrape together another 2-fitty and get a series 3 rockhopper

~Move front diff forwards with rear springs up front == LOVE IT , well worth the effort
~Move front diff forwards with coils == would be nice
~Purchase a Wt softtop body (Rollover Insurance) == youve thought about this !!!
~Do a ute chop == & this !!!
~Fit a front locker == DROOOL !!!!

Most of these (Bar coils& the BJ) I can do 2 or more so what I am getting at is:

love the rear springs up front , & a locker would be GOOD !!!!!

F100 rims for major offset and $300 to pay someone to pull out diff and weld it, 300 for snorkel, $300 to pay for first 1/2 of blown motor :(

And then upgrade to Series 3 rockhopper

Plumb that air intake into the firewall - ah lah snorkel on the cheap

Check out Critter - that's what they've done to that, and we're doing it to my car too.

If you're keeping the same tyres, i'd pick front locker over the series 3 hopper. But as you've said, if you call recover money from your s1 hopper, then the s3 may be far more attainable.

Does your car have balance as it is when crossed up? Are you keeping it spring over?

Oh, and where is this wt softtop body at?

I'd definitely do the locker first! best bang for buck off-road mod IMHO
I made a snorkel for under $70 most expensive bit was the head @ $35 you'd have plent of change from a lockright to pay for that!.

That is an Idea for the snorkel but then where will I keep my Lipstick??

The fact that nobody is interested in buying my tires makes me think I'll stick with them for a bit.
