GQ 2.8TD. OME. 35 BFG. Fact. Rear Locker on steroids. Air Locker front. Gearmaster Reduction. 6HP Warn 8274.
Great when documents like this get posted up. Just to confirm for sure what is it? .035 or .35mm? Couldn't read that last article.
I would have needed to ask this same question myself before the week was out.
Just a heads up- DONT BUY THIS BOOK! I have the Haynes repair manual 88 through 97 (thats a lie!) it's a complete waste of space doesn't even have the above spec in it that I could find + the suspension is wrong and so is the inner workings of front hub (mq?) It may suit an 88to92 GQ but it is way out everywhere I have needed to verify on my 96 so far. They do leave a lot of stuff out generally also.
cheers

It a pain the mark on the motor is a bitch to see as you can see from the pic it’s hidden below the pump gear cover. The best way to find out if you have Cylinder 1 at TDC is rotate the motor to the mark as shown in PIC Rocker 1-2-4-5-8-and 9 will all be loose, if 3-6-7-10-11 and 12 are all loose then you have Cylinder 6 at TDC.
