question about dipping in the front of GU patrol

my dad asked me to do this because he has done a 3" suspension to his GU patrol and it dipping in the front

is it because the front is heavier than the back
does it settle
next time should he do i 4'' in the front and 3'' in the rear
will he need to lengthen the radius arms in the front

He probably has the wrong rate springs in the front.

what accesssories does the truck have

they are dobinson springs with procomp shocks
arb winch bar with warn winch
and thats all he has but plans to do some lcmp kind of terrain

my dad keeps saying that they might be soft rated springs could that be the reason why it is dipping

when he ordered the springs, he told them all the accessories he had? Dual batteries?? Other gear in the engine bay that weighs?

Go back to where he got em, and show them.

While I do agree with bogged... New springs are a go go. How much is it sagging ? If it is significant ie; over an inch then definately look at getting the front set replaced under warranty.

Alternatively -(Read as: if the shop won't do it under warranty and he don't wanna fork out for a new set of front springs) He could simply add some cheap coil spacers to the front to level out the ride...

Generally Patrols like to be sitting with a bit of bum up in the air.... Key word a bit. THis helps the ride to be level when loaded. I have heard arguments that they handle better this way but that is heresay and rumour soo..
