The more competitors we have the better and I'm sure we can arrange to build another buggy for ya  ... but I not sure that the accountant will let us do it for a case of crowies ;) Maybe a case of Beam instead :D

any chance of the same photos with a 20 cent coin or something next to the parts for scale. the shaft looks suprisingly small?? is that the upgraded front output or the standard one?
G'day Carlton

It is the 26spline output which small and is not really recommended by Adavance Adaptors for competition use. Nonetheless, AA said a few have failed and they have mainly been units used in competition, the best thing is that they are happy to help Shane out with a new 32spline unit like the one most US competitors run and the one we have in our buggy.

Cheers Sean

i was just thinking that you should use some of these pics in your portfolio too deano, i can't believe how good they turned out :D you always wanted to be a pro photographer.

as for the buggie... well 45 and i are serious. we may take 6 or so months to get funds together, but we are serious. looking for something basic (i.e. nam's buggy or the homeless, or if it wasn't too much extra, something like ruffs budgie) for the legends class, running rover running gear and toyota cruiser axles. coiled most likely (fox shocks too bling for our budget).

so we might give you a yell and see what price we're looking at.

Damn... from that score sheet, we could have driven the FireTruck in 2wd through the first gate on each of the 3 stages on Sunday and come 3rd!!! WOuld have given us 40 points per course instead of 50, which would have put us in 3rd by about 20 points!

We were considering doing this... but thought we would be too far behind anyway... doh.

And yes, my Atlas had the 26 spline front shaft, not the upgraded 32 spline front output... it wasn't available back when I got my Atlas.

A 32 spline one will be going in now though, thanks to Sean at ABT and Advance Adapters!
