it is moved back a few inches

fitted the engine, gearbox, radiator etc. I didnt touch it on the long weekend but should hopefully have it nearly finished this weekend.

Started on the front end tonight.

Shackle reversal with rear springs up front. The springs are 2 inch lovells that have an extra leave than a standard rear pack so i pulled it out as well as removing the load leaf.

i am going to cut them out heaps like i did to the front.

I am going to cut out all the inner gaurd. Move the fuel filler to inside the cab and then re-make an inner gaurd up and screw on some of the black rubber flare.

On the front gaurds i have some 2mm sheet cut into a 20mm strip. I will weld that to inside edge where i cut it and then put on some of that 65mm black rubber flare.

Then at a quick glance she will look just like a stock narrow track ;)

hahaha, that's what I said with 5" of lift, f100 rims and 32" bfg's all spring under.

I ended up running 50mm lawn edging for flares. cheap, tough as shit, and looks half ok.

They are gonna need that to stiffen them up so the wind doesn't blow them off :D

not much progress to show, just been doing all little stuff.

Been building the diff centres and finishing off the front gaurds and firewall chopping

some more pics.

cut the rear gaurds, made the tail shafts, welded the rear diff and fitted it, finished off the front diff and heaps of other crap.

still have to build a cage, tie rod and draglink, brakelines, waiting for my series 3 rockhopper, make a trac bar, fit sams winch ;) , get a fuel tank, harness, finish off the rear gaurds and i am sure there is heaps more i am forgetting!

Had sheet metal guy make me up two 38 " ones outof 1.6, about a year ago only charge me sixty bucks .

i am going to fill in the rear gaurds, we will just go down to fergo's and roll them up ourselves ;)

i want to have a bit of a test drive before i take it up to queensland!
