Fuel tank under pressure

Post by Vineboy »

For the last couple of weeks when I take off the filler cap it realeases pressure from the fuel tank. I'm assuming this is a bad thing. what is blocked or not working?
Cheers,

Both of my cars occasionally do it, usually when the tanks fairly empty, even jerrycans do it. I dont think its a bad thing. Possibly due to heating and cooling. Someone correct me if im wrong in saying its a normal occurence
