Here are some pics of Andre's new Shtbox. It's a 50's ish willy's, 327ci Chev, T700, GQ transfer and diffs. Will be hitting the comp scene shortly.

Looks good

About time we see more Jeeps in the comps even if it is only the body left :)

I hope he has put in some major re-enforcement around the steering box on spring mounts the willy's frames are not know for their strength in these areas either that or carry an on board welder :roll:

There was 2 46 willy's for sale down here the other day the guy wanted 2k for both and had heaps of spares thought it would be nice to restore one and build a buggy from the second but no workshop doesnt realy give me too many options

The chassis is 600mm longer and boxed the way with 3mm.

Those 2 46 willys would be nice.

not bad but there doesn't seem to be much flex in the front.
