3" Suspension Lift

Post by hudson44 »

Have just removed my 1" spring spacers and replaced them with 2" lift springs. I have only gained about 5mm of lift and was thinking of putting the spacers in on top of the new lifted springs to give me a total of 3".

Was just wondering if anyone has done a 3" lift on the rear and if there are any problems in doing this. Obviously the back will sit slightly higher than the front (torsion bars cranked and bump stops chopped) but wouldn't mind the extra inch on the back.

Cheers

My lwb has equivalent to 5" of lift and has a 20mm tailshaft spacer but this is needed more for the extra flex so it doesn't get ripped out of the t/case at full travel.
No vibes whatsoever.
I just luv my "clacker Jabber"
