Bit the bullet today and bought myself a GQ Diesel Shorty.

Already have big plans remains to be seen if my wallet will keep up though

350 Chev - Fuel Injected (Have Already from old truck)
Cage
36 Pedes
Bar
Winch

Still have to decide what to do with spring and body lift to fit 36's though any suggestions would be appreciated.

This is going to be built for OBC and simlar events

I run 36x12.5 pedes on mine. Ive got 50mm body and 3" springs.
Just trimmed out he gurads. It handles great. Not too much body roll for side slopes. Got heavy duty springs (Dobbins) in the front and medium in rear. It likes to pick up the front left tyre but may change to med duty in front to fix.
i trimmed about 65mm from back of front guard and all works great.

Thanks for that

Gonna get the motor in first before I start stuffing around with buying springs I think.

Maybe but this one came at a really good price so I can sell the motor to pay for some of the bits I need for the conversion.

May have been easier but most I could find had a lot more kms on the clock so more wear on the drive train
