DVD production is not a fruitful practice here in Australia and it is chiefly done by individuals who are supported by other means but none the less are committed to supporting the 4wd industry.

I produced the 8 Day XI and whilst it was our first attempt at a full event DVD, we have had nothing but praise and encouragement from the event organiser, marshals, competitors, resellers and viewers. In fact the above post is the first negative I have heard (apart from MMM wanting more country music!!!!).

Working within the industry that we do and also working closely with other DVD producers like ORP I have seen first hand how one or two failures in a run of 1000 is common place. There are also a variety of ways in which DVDs can be burnt, stamped, copied and printed.

We did produce the DVD and it was then passed on for mass production and distribution. As far as we were all concerned there were no corners cut for the sake of financial savings or that would effect the final quality. We did though opt to prove a point with this production which was having a fully rendered professional DVD ready for sale within 4 weeks of the event itself. In fact the editing was finished within 3 (ok so there were a few 15 hour days but we got it done anyway).

So please watch the DVD and give it a go...I believe that the distributor has contacted you anyway...
