Well today the blower fans on my '91 rangie started on only work on III. Now being that is summer you wouldn't think that would be a massive problem but it is as the AC is very cold and III is just too much.
I have read the blower fan controller is under the dekker panel between the windscreen and bonnet, according to the haynes manual you have to remove this to get there which looks like a pain in the a$$. I also read a site that said they could get to it through the plastic vents and snip the wires and resolder the new ones.
Bottom line is - who has changed one, did you take the panel off ? how much was the part? or did you come up with another soution to the problem like fitting an aftermarket resistor pack ?
Thanks guys
Tom

Rangie Aircon Fan speed controller - whose changed one
Moderator: Micka
Yeah I did - he said he hadn't but his mate stuart was looking at having to change it but couldn't be bothered. I had a hard time convincing chuck that the resistor pack was under that panel - he believe that it should have been between the evaporator and the vents so the air con cooled the unit - makes more sense but rover set it up to be air cooled by the movement of the carRUFF wrote:Have you spoke to Chuck? Im pretty sure he changed this last year.
