GQ Diesel Water Temp

Post by ozy1 »

gday, i done a search, but couldnt find the details im after,

What temps does the deisel run, as im looking to get a temp guage, would 60-120 be enough or should i go 60-140,

whats the factory guage min and max temps?

also, im either going mechanical or eletric,

another question, how is the heator core plumbed in, is there a valve that stops the water flow when the heater is off, or is there a flap that just stops the air flow over the heater core?

If you want mechanical, I have a VDO one here you can have for 1/2 new price what ever that is. New in box... I went electric.

i was going to go Eletrical Oil Pressure and Water Temp, and boost, then get an EGT guage, all in autometer so it all matches,

There is a valve which shuts off water flow to the heater core.
60-140 is probably an oil temp gauge.
