ok i done a search i couldn't find the thread i was after im sure there was a thread on it a while ago


symptoms
grumbling noise from front left ...
only happens when i turn right...
doens't happen when i turn left ...
doens't happen when in straight line...

how do you know if a bearing is on its way out or farked for that matter?

i've pulled it apare and packed new grease in there and still same symptoms

when i have bearings out, i normally check them for play, to see hoe loose, floppy they are in their cage and on their race i believe its call, also check for scoreing, not sure if its the correct way, but i have had no dramas to date,

mmm after i degreased them they were pretty sloppy in the race ...
maybe time for new ones ...

sound more like your tyres making that noise mate, when tyre start chopping out and ware un evenly they start making noises especialy when turning, try swapping tyres front to rear and see if its any beter, :D


wheel bearings will make noise in all directions, not just cornering
