Atomic front and rear axles use a Ford 9" third member housed in a high strength faced center section to preserve proper gear mesh under heavy torque load.. 1480 u-joints transfer power to the wheels. The housing's center section is sealed using standard Ford 9" outer bearings and seals. 35 or 40 spline stub shaft extend into the third member/locker. All axle shafts can be ordered with 35 or 40 spline shafts along with 1480 U-joints. The front axle center section is offset 4" and can be ordered with a driver or passenger side input.

The yellow one runs in the rear, not sure about the front the same as the tope pics. The second set of pics with the hummer portols are what he has in the buggy.Slayer wrote:think we are talkin about his new buggy, built for the werock series... not his old yellow thing.....TSL wrote:The Diff in pete's cruiser was designed by Richard Craft (Craft diffs)N*A*M wrote:or dobbins?bad_religion_au wrote:mmm similar concept to antunecs

more cv's to go bang >_<
No CV joints involved. If you fit CTM UJs then I doubt anything would go bang. And most of the UJs run at a constant angle - will mean they have an easier life than a UJ used for steering.ISUZUROVER wrote:1480 u-joints transfer power to the wheels.
