Performa Fuel Savers

Post by Floody_1985 »

Evening All,
Just wondering if anyone has one of these ---> http://www.performafuel.com/performa/default.htm <--- fitted to their Rocky's??

If so, how much did it improve your economy by??

For those who are a bit critical of these types of things, I have seen the proof that they work. My parents have one fitted to their Mazda Tribute and it does improve economy a lot!! However, I'm asking more specifically what people get out of their Rocky's (F78 responses would be good, :D).

Will be purchasing shortly for my vehicle.

Cheers

In short, SNAKE OIL!!!

If they worked so fantastically, then why don't they sell like hotcakes? Simple, because they don't work.

I've known some people who have tried them, some claimed an improvement.

The funniest thing about that one is they are claiming it is a lot better than the competitors equivalent product!

OMG another Hiclone wannabe !

No they don't work, I dont even have to look at the website to know its a sham. These fall into the Penis Pill and Love potions category you see at the top of websites in little banners.

Ive known ppl to claim these stupid gimmicks work, their parents have used one ect ect, my only explanation is because they are expecting better economy they drive with less right foot, thus giving a few extra kays per tank.

As I have said.. If you dyno the car before and after installation of the product in the exact same conditions and a power and/or torque increase is recorded... you will get better economy out of the vehicle, thats elemental.
Although, If no change is noted, I cant see it making a difference.

Even then I dont think I'd be convinced. So many variables, it may have cooled down ambient temps by the time they did the test with it fitted, engine may have cooled substantially.

Dyno stats can be manipulated to prove anything !
