PunkBus and Shane...nice pics!

I loved this shot of Bec:
Image
Wondering if I can get a high res version???

Hey Daisy...look at this pic and tell me something:
Image
Was your winch a little tight there or was that just a fully loaded suspension? It is hard to tell because the right shock is extended a bit...but that does not mean the winch wasn't tight enough to pull the left tire off the ground...?
FYI, we didn't use the winch on our crawler all weekend and never even considered hooking it up as the suspension was that well balanced. If yours is the same, I'd recommend unhooking it unless you KNOW you're gonna need it. That strap hanging below your rig WILL eventually catch on something and cost you bigtime.

Dustin, i can't speak on Toms behalf. But i think he only had a very small amount of water in his front tyres aswell. I would imagine with 250Lb of steel shot in each tyre it would react alot different.

Looking at the pick it looks asthough it was loose, thats the cable running over the bar that braces between the front shocks. Hope that makes sense.

We didn't run shot in our tires in Aus. A LITTLE water, but really nothing as with the 20's and the Staun's, there was only a few pounds when it was all said and done. Sam told me there were about 15cm of H2o. That suspension in the front still settled very well which was unexpected without our normally heavy weighted tires (TYRES :P ) The rear right tire liked to lift but that was due to the relatively short panhard bar and quite expected.

I looked close at the pic and still couldn't tell. Tom uses a wide strap for his winch doesn't he?

Punk, you've got mail!
