air conditioning cost

I have a 2.4 diesel hilux and wondering how much it would cost for installation of air conditioning would be. Any help would be very helpfull.

I found an under dash unit that you could probably figure out how to fit to your lux - it was 300 and i would imagine that there are a few bits you'd need to buy and a few more you'd need to make or have made. Just check around for a standard unit if you don't mind it sticking into your passanger's knees.

bank on regassing costing and commisioning costing a couple hundred.

i reckon the whole lot could run into quite a bit, particularly if you buy it piecemeal

i am lookin at doing the same thing to my hilux, and have got all the parts minus compressor (already had) for $300 ie condensor,evaporater lines swithes etc etc. I just have to spend a bit of time fitting it the money to get it goin..
