in the mornings (seems to be worse when cold, no its not the engine)
seems to be the front end, when i let the clutch out theres a shudder, as if taking up the "slack". only developed a couple of weeks ago. front end is stock, rear sals is full maxi drive.
front left drive flange is "wet".... arn't the cv's packed with grease.
i don't think my has been converted to run in oil, yet.... the stock drive flanges would leak all the time if running in oil, wouldn't they???
99% in first gear, only some times in second.... never when already moving
so really only from take off and can be controlled if i let the clutch out real eeeaaassssyyy
cv? axle??
should i be really worried about lock up and a big accident?
cheers ,serg

drive line clunk/shudder

could be quite a few things...
1st thing I would do would be to remove the front propshaft, engage CDL and see if it is still there...
if it is gone... then it is something in the front end... i.e. diff or cv's....
if still there could be clutch or maybe handbrake grabbing...
this is assuming it is definatly coming from the front

noise
why not start by jacking up the front end and spinning each front wheel listening for noises, see if you can find any movement in the drive flange splines, wheel bearings,swivels,etc...worth a look just to make sure.
