theres a GQ with steel GU rims on it up the road from here, and it looks hideous.

the stud pattern is same as Ozy says

I have a stock silver Mav with 16 x 8 GU silver steel rims..Hideous, not likely and a great improvement over the 15 x 8 Sunraysia rims it had from standard.

And the best part was that I got the 5 rims and brand new tyres from the Frankston Dealer for $285.00...THE LOT. Never to be repeated.

I don't think it had 15x8 Sunnies from standard did it? Even the 'wide wheel pack' Mavericks only had 15x7" rims..?

Anyway... either way, I don't think those look too bad, and $285 is a good deal. 15" rims are still the go imho as tyres are cheaper in 15" than 16", but this will probably even up over time as 16" rims become more common.

Jason, I think your right, 15 x 7.
My mistake.

What I like about the GU rims, apart from the ridiculously low price I paid for them , is that they also match the paintwork of my car and the overall rolling circumference with the 275/75/16 has not affected my speedo readings. My GPS reads within 1kph of the speedo.
