custom poly bumpstops

Post by cplux »

I remember someone posting they were making their own bushes a while ago, just wondering if anyone can tell me what is involved, need to make some odd shaped bumpstops for my rear leaf springs (to stop em kinking at the front half when fully compressed).

Or does anyone know where i could buy a solid block of poly say 70x100x70mm that i could cut and shape.

cheers

Engineering suppliers generally carry UHDPE rod & sheet, even CBC keep a bit in stock in most places..
