a mate of mine mentioned he has been hearing of a 4Y turbo setup, but when i asked more specifically he didnt know alot...

is this true, if so is it worth the money and who does it...


lastly, would a signifcantly modified 186 motor swap into a 88 Hilux??

Why would you bother with that when you could put in a V6 for a lot less hassles..

i have seen it done to an 82 model hilux but as said before why when you can go v6 with less hastles

Dellows sell a kit for a 186 into a hilux. Even though the v6 would be a million times better I think the v6 would be a bigger hassle.

was just wondering about the 186 as i will have it from another project very soon, and i paid nothing for it, its also significantly worked. i was thinking as it isnt nearly as big of an increase it would possibly not need as many cooling issues to be adressed, however i was just seeing some replys
