GU scoops now $230?

went to my local nissan spares place in newcastle today and the guy told me that i cant just get the fibreglass scoop on its own, i have to buy it as a kit.

Does this sound right? i've been reading that people have got them for 130 recently..

hi, some parts interpreters at nissan dealerships do not know how to break down parts assemblies into individual items, my brother bought one before christmas for about $80 from parra nissan.
Chop it drop it and big block it.

Best price i`ve had so far is $110 (trade) from Klosters.But that was for the top bit only,in white.

Had a mate pick one up a few weeks ago from ferntree gully nissan for about $97. This was the unpainted scoop, bolts and some a black strip to go between the scoop and the bonnet

there are two part numbers for the scoops,
one is cheaper then the other i listed the cheaper part number in another thread! ( F5852VB310 )

At ferntree gully nissan they have also gone up in price, but not by much. I picked up a couple around mid year for about $105 each, and a mate picked up one a couple of weeks ago for about $110.

got mine genuine from nissan for $112 about a month ago its unpainted with the strip between the bonnet and scoop and the mounting studs .

autobarn sells an unpainted lookalike scoop pretty mutch the same for 30 bucks

nah only got a quick price why i was in there the other week they said exact copy basically was around $120
